British education designed to help students develop their abilities as far as possible,train them and contribute to society.British secondry education has two parts for 7 years,before 16 adn after 16.Teenagers in 16-year-old completed the national complusory education can choose to work or continue learning.Learning has two directions:academic and career.If you want to study for a degree course in the future,the academic,often need two more years study,and finally to participate the GCE A LEVEL or IB examination,you will finish your secondry education in 18.British university education is 3 years usually,but in Scotland is 4 years.British universities offer a wide variety of courses,most courses can be obtained at the end of a degree or equivalent.British colleges and universities become increasingly international,students from all of the world.Now,international students study in UK come from ninety countries,every student makes unique contribution to the academic and culture.

Government and Parliament

Modern British government has important meaning to the parliament.To let the House of Commons always trust the government is the essential.Trust principle reflects the birtsh government to parliament affiliation.Government's eligibility ruling is decided by if the House of Commons trust it,if the government lose the trust they must stop ruling.If the government can keep ruling has two ways to decide.One is  the prime minister will ask the House of Commons if they trust the government,second is the leader of  opposition makes clear to the House of Commons condemned the government's case.No matter which way,one of these two,if the House of Commons do not trust the government,they must quit or ask the king to dissovle parliament and election early.Modern British Parliament has three parts:the king,the House of Commons and the House of Lords.The monarch do not has the real power but he is still the british tridition and a symbol of national unity.In accordance with the provisions of the Consititution,the Queen's responsibilities are: she is the head of legislature,an intergral of it,the head of  judiciary,the top commander of the army and the supreme leader of the Anglican.

Bonfire Night

Every 5th november is the Bonfire Night in the UK.It will continuie about half a month.From the end of october till few days ago I can hear the sond of firework every night.The Bonfire Night means the beginning of the winter.Britsh people think that firework can dispel evil,bring the lucky. 7th november we were in the park in Pontypridd.Listen the music,watch the firework.It was cold that day,but we had fun.Firework was so beautiful,it makes me think about the firework in China.We have a bigger and longer time firework show.
In UK,British Bonfire Night originated 400 years ago,November 5, the national lit bonfires, thank God bless the king.1605,Guy Fawkes wanted to fire London to kill the king.But the king found the plot,king's guard catched him.The king and London were safe.Britsh people want to celebrate the day,so every 5th november they fireworks till the day became a triditional festvital in UK.

 

 

Halloween

Every 31th october is the Halloween.Most english countries like this festvial.Every 1th november is the Hallowmas,so the 31th october is also called Halloween Eve.It is the day people remember the Hallow.Hallow means all the saints.
The Halloween was origin the ancient Celtics triditional festvial.The day,the last day of october,Celtics thought it was the end of summer and the beginning of winter.They thought it is the most important day in a year.
Celtics thought in that day all the ghosts and the soul of dead people will appear.So,if people walk alone at night that day was very dangerous.The Celtics will wear a mask and people will put foods in front of the door,burn the bonfire to scare ghosts.
Before the Halloween people will make pumpkin,empited carved as a evil face and put candle in it.Nowadays people think Halloween is a nice festvial to open a party to have fun with family members friends and neighbors.They drink,eat,dance do all the things can make them happy.They do not scared about the story of ghost.

It is bad that UK joined in the EU

It is really bad that UK joined in the EU.Most of the members of the EU use the EURO,but UK does not.
It is not convenient,if some britsh people want to travel to some countries of the EU,they have to exchange pounds to EURO.And it is not so easy that people want to travel to member countries.They must apply,it costs many days.
To join in the EU,it is not good for UK.Because the economy still not good.Many people lose their jobs every day.Lots of students can not find job.And the EU looks like do not do anything to change this.
So,I dont\'t think it is good that UK joined in the EU

Royal Family's House

Buckingham Palace is the offical and the main royal London home of the Queen.In fact the Queen usually live in Windsor Castle and Balmoral in Scotland.Windsor Castle is the largest occupied castle in the world.The Queen and royal family are proud of the castle.Balmoral Castle is the private home of The Queen.The castle is the favourite place that the royal famliy spend the summer hoilday.It is in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
The royal family also have some other private house and country just like Kensington Palace,St. James Palace and Clarence House.And the St. James Palace was the home for the king and queen of England for over 300 years.The Palace of Westminster was the past royal family's home.It has over 1000 rooms.

Henry VIII

Henry VIII was the second son of Henry VII.His mother was Elizabeth from York.Henry VIII was born in 28 June 1491 ,he was the second king of Tudor Dynasty,his successor was Edward VI.Henry VIII was the Lord of Ireland and also the claimant to the kingdom of France.At first he used the title "Henry the Eighth, by the Grace of God, King of England, France and Lord of Ireland". 1521,was the "Defender of the Faith",1535,"of the Church of England in Earth Supreme Head".
Henry VIII was a knowledgeable king,his palace was the center of academic and artistic innovation.He even wrote a book in Latin,and he was good at sports.He was the first study of the European rulers of the world geography also.He ruled for 38 years the United Kingdom,He ruled England for 38 years is a period of significant change,especially in the 16th century religious reform.
He was died in  28 January 1547.

First Impressions

I arrived here was 4 O'clock 20th september.But my plane should be arrived here 11 O'clock 19th september.It is said my plane was delated.When I arrived the Accomodation Office they told there were no room for me,and they give me one room which needs share with 4 people and I should pay 15 pounds just one night.I must move out before 9 O'clock 20th.I was angeried about this,because before I came here they told me they have a room for me,so I did not look for any house.Now I have no place to live in!!!
Thank god,my friend is here,she told me that I can live in her house and during this time I can looking for some place to rent.So I took my bagage and went back to her home.20th was the day that every student should enrolment,but I need to look for house so I missed that.It broke my plan.And then I missed campus time ploice station registration,and I missed the best time to open my account.
I found a room in Cathays which was costs 200 pounds per month,but this room has a sound of water all day,I can not fall asleep,and I should get up early to catch up the train,if not I will late to class.I've had enough about that,so I decide to find a room which is near the campus.Finally I found that in Ponty Pridd.So I moved in which is now I am living in.
I do not have a feeling that I am at home.I konw the homesick is true.I miss my family,my friends,my home,my hometown,my country,my language.People don't care about something is not belong them.Yes,when I was asking how can I get to somewhere they will tell me,but they don't care if it is the best way.I am lonely without my family,my friends,who I love.
So my first impressions about UK was terrible
